Before Tom Andrews purchased the Ventoux at the auction in Paris in February 2015, the Bugatti Type 57 chassis and drive train were verified as original, matching numbers, with ‘417’ stamped on all relevant components.
Following the discovery of a 1937 Bugatti Type 57 Ventoux in a barn in France, we purchased and shipped the car to New Zealand.
Since 2018, our dedicated team at Classics Museum has been restoring this rare and historic Bugatti.
With the restoration running parallel to the Atlantic build, the history behind both of these cars is captivating, to say the least.
